G'day,
I am new to this forum and have only just been given clearence by the doctors after breaking my leg in 4 places in a bike accident.

I lost a lot of condition over this time and an wanting to get it back. I am wanting to know a couple of things firstly what are the best supplements to use and has anyone heard of a cook book aimed specificaly at body builders.

hi the supplements you should think of taking are a good quality protein whether it be isolate/concentrate or a blend,l-glutamine.They are the basics then there are heaps more you can get it depends on what you are after.Just remember eat a balanced diet protein/carbs and essential fatty acids and remember your water intake.In regards to the book you could try borders in town or the great american bookstore both in elizabeth street.Hope that helps.

Sorry to hear about the accident but good to see you are ready to get back into it.

Good advice Hammer.

The only other thing I would suggest is to ensure that you train very smart with your leg. After such a huge injury rehab can take a long time so ensure you take it slow and steady. Biting off too much too early will only hamper your recovery and getting back to you best.
